This takes me back to those holidays when school finished back in the 1970s. Part of the kids TV line up on BBC1 was The Banana Splits. The three Musketeers were one of the core cartoons of the Banana Splits. The cartoon concerned the adventures of four Musketeers and their constant battle against enemies of the state who would try to topple the reigning Monarch. Porthos, Athos and Aramis were the Three Musketeers plus D'Artagnan who later became their leader. Constance provided the female element as was supposedly D'Artagnan's girl. She was often accompanied by Toulee (spelling ?) who was a young boy who was often getting up to mischief in his pursuit of becoming a Musketeer.
